Summary About these terms Plans and licence keys Payments and refunds Your work Fair use No guarantees Ending Changes and law

Summary

  • Your work is yours. Your designs, emails and HTML belong to you.
  • 5 free emails a month. Paid plans remove the limit and can be cancelled any time.
  • Licence keys aren’t for sharing. A key only covers the people and devices on your plan.
  • Test before you send. Inboxes vary, so we can’t guarantee how every email will look.

1. About these terms

These terms cover the MarkupMail Figma plugin and markupmail.io, run by Anmol Kamboj in the United Kingdom. By installing the plugin or buying a plan, you agree to them. If you use MarkupMail for a company, you agree on its behalf. MarkupMail runs inside Figma, so Figma’s terms also apply. We aren’t affiliated with Figma. Questions? Email [email protected].

2. Plans and licence keys

The free Starter plan includes 5 different emails each calendar month. An email counts the first time you download it or copy its HTML. Exporting it again doesn’t count.

Paid plans remove the limit. Each comes with a licence key that only covers the people and devices included in your plan. Don’t share, sell or publish it.

3. Payments and refunds

Our payment provider sells MarkupMail on our behalf as the seller (merchant of record), so its terms, shown at checkout, also apply. Plans renew monthly or yearly until you cancel, which you can do any time from Manage subscription in the plugin’s Settings. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

If MarkupMail isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.

4. Your work

Everything you make with MarkupMail belongs to you. You’re responsible for what you send, including having the rights to your content and following the rules for marketing email wherever you send it.

5. Fair use

Please don’t:

  • use MarkupMail for spam or anything illegal
  • copy, modify, resell or redistribute the plugin, or use it to build a competing product
  • decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the plugin, except where the law allows it
  • get around its limits or licence checks, or interfere with our servers

6. No guarantees

MarkupMail is provided “as is”. Email clients differ and change often, so we can’t guarantee how every email will look, or that the plugin will always be available or free of bugs. Always test before sending.

Our total liability is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before a claim, or $100 if that’s more. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost sales. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

7. Ending

You can stop using MarkupMail at any time. We may suspend or cancel a licence key that’s used in breach of these terms.

8. Changes and law

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top and email paying customers about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer, you can also bring a claim where you live.
